AJ’s Injuries and Who’s To Blame?

AJ Big Show

WWE.com has posted a new article reviewing the Big Show/AJ incident on SmackDown and updating the fans on the extent of her injuries.

WWE physician Dr. Michael Sampson is quoted as saying:

“AJ is pretty beat up, as you can imagine. She has head trauma, a cervical sprain/strain and also multiple contusions all over her body.”

Interesting to note is author Michael Burdick querying whether AJ will be the same person upon returning:

Still, no matter when the numerous physical injuries subside, is it possible that the emotional scars could run much deeper? An impact like the one AJ experienced would be a traumatic situation for anyone. With that in mind, could the sheer memory of it keep the spunky beauty out of action indefinitely? If she does return, will she be the same positive force inside the ring that she was before she was run over by the 441 pound behemoth?

The article  – readable here – also poses the question as to who exactly is to blame for her injuries: Big Show, Daniel Bryan or even AJ herself? It points out that General Manager Theodore Long could be in the wrong for allowing her at ringside to begin with. Who do you think is to blame for what happened? Let us know your thoughts.

WWE.com Explores Tension Between AJ and Kaitlyn

WWE.com has a new article up looking at the disension between the Chickbusters, AJ and Kaitlyn, pondering whether the former NXT winner is jealous of her pint-sized BFF.

The article reads:

Kaitlyn knows AJ’s dream – ever since sitting in Madison Square Garden with her father (READ), AJ has wanted to become a Diva. Best friends know the 411. They encourage you to reach your dreams. They tell you when you hair might be a little bit too “poofy,” chastize you for listening to Kreayshawn’s “Gucci, Gucci,” on repeat while travelling and tell you that “of course your plaid matches your outfit.” But, best friends do not walk away when the other is in trouble. Once as a lesson, maybe. But twice? Kaitlyn may be letting the evil eyes of jealousy dictate what’s happening in the squared circle. (more…)

AJ & Kaitlyn Discuss Where They Fit in Divas’ “Models vs Wrestlers” Debate

aj kaitlyn
WWE.com caught up with AJ and Kaitlyn, collectively known as the Chickbusters, to talk about the raging debate in the Divas division of “models vs wrestlers”.

The former NXT graduates feel that they don’t fall into either category, with AJ saying that she doesn’t understand why Beth Phoenix and Natalya have labelled them as models. If you’ll cast your mind back a couple of months ago, Natalya completed her heel turn by attacking AJ and calling her a “princess”. While AJ doesn’t allude to her independent wrestling background, she does say she was a fan of WWE and jokes that she “snuck her way in here”.

Meanwhile, AJ feels that Kaitlyn, a former powerlifter, is a hybrid of both model and wrestler.
