Eve Carjacks the Divas of Doom, Leaves Them Stranded
In a new WWE.com video, a quick trip to the gas station last night after Raw turned into quite a predicament for Divas Champion Beth Phoenix and her partner in crime Natalya. The Divas of Doom went inside the store to pick up some drinks and snacks, but when they headed back to their car, all they found was an empty parking spot. The mystery of the missing car was soon solved, though, when it pulled up and the driver was revealed to be none other than Eve Torres. Eve drove off, leaving her foes stranded at the gas station. Eve Wins Number One Contendership for Divas Title
It will be Eve Torres vs Beth Phoenix once again for the Divas Title after Eve won a Divas Halloween costume battle royal to earn the right to challenge the Glamazon.
Following their great match at Vengeance a couple of weeks ago, the two Divas will face off once more, however, the date of their second bout has not yet been announced. Could it be at Survivor Series or perhaps on Raw?
Divas Champion Beth Phoenix defeated Eve at Vengeance 2011
The battle between No. 1 contender to the Divas Championship Eve and The Glamazon, Beth Phoenix spread far beyond the mat – where the two Divas took to Twitter to air their grievances with one another. After the Twitter-based tongue lashing had finally subsided in a hotly-contested battle for the butterfly emblazoned title, Eve fell just short of beating a dominating Beth Phoenix at Vengeance.
Eve pulled out all the stops in hopes of capturing the Divas Championship. Utilizing both her athleticism – reversing the Glam Slam and trying for the pin – and using The Glamazon’s own ring gear to tie The Beauty from Buffalo to the ring ropes. However, one dominant Glam Slam later, Eve was unable to net the butterfly. (more…)
