WWE Universe, Lilian Garcia is back in a WWE ring!
Returning to WWE full-time after a more than two-year hiatus, Lilian will be SmackDown’s new ring announcer! It’s her first time joining WWE’s flagship Friday night brand.
Lilian debuted as a Raw ring announcer in August 1999. She’s the only Diva to celebrate a decade with WWE, retiring in September 2009 after her 10-year anniversary.
The bilingual Diva made WWE history by becoming the first female to announce WrestleMania, at WrestleMania 22. She has performed the National Anthem at hundreds of WWE, NBA, New York Jets games and other sporting events. Lilian’s Spanish language debut album, “¡Quiero Vivir!,” was released in October 2007, and featured Latin recording artist Jon Secada.
Lilian Garcia Comments On Return To WWE
Returning to WWE full-time after a more than two-year hiatus, she will be SmackDown’s new ring announcer. It’s her first time joining WWE’s Friday night brand.
“I am here to tell you that I am back baby! This is awesome. I am actually back in the WWE. I’m going to be announcing SmackDown full-time,” she tells WWE.com in an interview at Monday night’s RAW SuperShow in Tampa, Florida.
“I’ve been doing a lot, I got married since I left. I actually relocated from New York City to L.A. I have been recording—I’ve never stopped singing. I’ve been recording, got some new songs coming out, got a video coming out next week, so that’s exciting, I missed it though. No matter how much I did other things, I always missed this. (more…)

WWE’s website has a new video up with former Diva Lilian Garcia, taped backstage at tonight’s RAW in Tampa, Florida.
It’s revealed that Lilian is returning to WWE as an announcer for the SmackDown brand full-time.

Former WWE Diva Maria Kanellis made some allegations during last week’s RAW discussion on this show on AfterBuzzTV.com after co-host Lilian Garcia pondered why McIntyre and Morrison are not receiving greater pushes.
Maria said of McIntyre, “I have a feeling he’s paid for someone else’s sins, problems, because Drew’s really good. I’d love to see him do more stuff, but it’s unfortunate that that happens.”
Maria then said of Morrison, “I think it’s a lot of complications of outside stuff. I think that a lot of times they go with who’s going to be there, who’s always going to be there, who’s going to be the easiest. He’s very easy and I love him to pieces, but I think it’s outside complications. I think that’s why.”
