Former Diva Maria Kanellis Backstage at Raw
Former WWE Diva and Slammy Award winner, Maria Kanellis, was backstage at last night’s Raw taping in Anaheim, California.
Maria noted on Twitter that she was visiting friends. She wrote: “Backstage seeing some old friends at Monday Night Raw!!”
Kanellis recently returned to wrestling after a two-year absence following her release from WWE in February 2010. She is due to make her in-ring return next month for FWE in New York against TNA’s Tara. The former Playboy covergirl has also joined Ring of Honor as the valet for real life boyfriend Mike Bennett and is being dubbed the ‘First Lady of ROH’.

Former WWE star Maria Kanellis is featured in a new video promo posted by boyfriend ‘The Prodigy’ Mike Bennett on YouTube today.
Maria will make her ROH debut as Bennett’s valet at tomorrow’s Final Battle Internet pay per view.
In the clip, Maria resurrects the ditzy role she once played in WWE. Pretty cool.

“I was surprised by how unhappy people were. It’s the greatest company in the world, but there are so many people within that company that still struggle with their creative abilities not being used. I think you see that in so many people that come out of it. They have motorcycle shops or they have tattoo parlors or they are designers and want to do fashion. Maryse just came out and said she wants to do fashion. Torrie wants to do fashion. Trish has her own yoga studio and her own yoga line. So many of us just feel creatively stifled.” (more…)
Former WWE Diva Maria Takes Another Shot At The Bella Twins
During AfterBuzzTV.com’s post-show for Monday’s Raw SuperShow, former WWE Diva Maria Kanellis took a Triple H-like swipe at former colleagues Nikki and Brie Bella.
Former WWE creative writer Jensen Karp recalled producing a backstage segment involving the word “labiagytis” (on the May 1, 2006 Raw, Candice Michelle asked Vince McMahon in he could cure her labiagytis after he had cured her chest cold). While the program hosts segued to discussion over the Divas tag team match on Raw, Kanellis quipped, “Speaking of labiagytis, The Bellas…” (more…)
