Former WWE Diva and Slammy Award winner, Maria Kanellis, was backstage at last night’s Raw taping in Anaheim, California.

Maria noted on Twitter that she was visiting friends. She wrote: “Backstage seeing some old friends at Monday Night Raw!!”

Kanellis recently returned to wrestling after a two-year absence following her release from WWE in February 2010. She is due to make her in-ring return next month for FWE in New York against TNA’s Tara. The former Playboy covergirl has also joined Ring of Honor as the valet for real life boyfriend Mike Bennett and is being dubbed the ‘First Lady of ROH’.

Following her release in 2010, Kanellis criticized the way WWE used its Divas, as well as the control they tried to wield over the Superstars and Divas’ outside projects.

Maria will make her ROH debut as Bennett’s valet at tomorrow’s Final Battle Internet pay per view.

In the clip, Maria resurrects the ditzy role she once played in WWE. Pretty cool.

Fans who have never heard Maria outside her WWE character are surprised by her intelligence and humor. A completely different person than the ditzy interviewer fans came to expect, Kanellis has always been positive about her time with WWE, but doesn’t sugarcoat anything either. As James Guttman asks during her ClubWWI.com interview, what surprised her the most when transitioning from WWE fan to performer? Maria answers…

“I was surprised by how unhappy people were. It’s the greatest company in the world, but there are so many people within that company that still struggle with their creative abilities not being used. I think you see that in so many people that come out of it. They have motorcycle shops or they have tattoo parlors or they are designers and want to do fashion. Maryse just came out and said she wants to do fashion. Torrie wants to do fashion. Trish has her own yoga studio and her own yoga line. So many of us just feel creatively stifled.”

Maria speaks in-depth about the good and bad from working in WWE. But even the bad points have a silver lining. As many fans know, Kanellis was released just as her stint on Celebrity Apprentice began. James points out how that seems to be something that the company does regularly. Wrestlers join reality shows and just as they’re about to get exposure, they get released. Maria agrees but points out to ClubWWI.com listeners how that too had a silver lining.

“It’s funny. It happened with me. It happened with Ashley. It happened with Stacy. Jericho has left again. It’s just one of those weird things that happened. I think that it’s because WWE thinks that we get a big head about it. It’s not necessarily that we get a big head about it, it’s just we start to learn. We start to learn what’s out there. OK. This or that is going on. I want to fix it. I want to put it in my contract. I want to be able to talk about it. As soon as you start doing that, it was like you lose all leverage.

“Would I have left when I did? Yes. Would I have done it differently? Maybe. I don’t know. I think back on it now and I had a lot going on in my life that didn’t involve WWE. So, I don’t know if I was in the greatest position to make the decision that I did, but I am thankful that I’ve had so much time to see other things and do other things. I’ve had a lot of great opportunities. Plus, and I know like this is so girly, but I wouldn’t have met the guy I’m with now if it wasn’t for me being released. One door opens when another door closes.”

“I would say never say never. But, at the same time, I don’t see myself going there. I’m kind of a WWE girl. They brought me in. They are the ones that gave me all the publicity I’ve had so far. Getting on Celebrity Apprentice was from that. Doing Playboy was from that. Doing all the other little shows here and there was from it, so I just don’t see myself going there. But that doesn’t mean it’ll never happen.”

During AfterBuzzTV.com’s post-show for Monday’s Raw SuperShow, former WWE Diva Maria Kanellis took a Triple H-like swipe at former colleagues Nikki and Brie Bella.

Former WWE creative writer Jensen Karp recalled producing a backstage segment involving the word “labiagytis” (on the May 1, 2006 Raw, Candice Michelle asked Vince McMahon in he could cure her labiagytis after he had cured her chest cold). While the program hosts segued to discussion over the Divas tag team match on Raw, Kanellis quipped, “Speaking of labiagytis, The Bellas…”

Kanellis then joked that she was merely kidding, but that she “couldn’t help it.”

This is not Kanellis’ first swipe towards the twin duo on the talk program as she implied on October 10, 2011 that they once shared a hot tub with John Laurinaitis, referring them as “two Divas who look alike.” She took another veiled shot at the Bellas’ promiscuity the following week, which featured Nikki and Brie flirting with WWE’s Executive Vice President of Talent Relations in a backstage segment.

While segueing, Kanellis said, “And the Bella Twins were in the back with Johnny, moving on…”

Former WWE Diva Maria Kanellis made some allegations during last week’s RAW discussion on this show on AfterBuzzTV.com after co-host Lilian Garcia pondered why McIntyre and Morrison are not receiving greater pushes.

Maria said of McIntyre, “I have a feeling he’s paid for someone else’s sins, problems, because Drew’s really good. I’d love to see him do more stuff, but it’s unfortunate that that happens.”

Maria then said of Morrison, “I think it’s a lot of complications of outside stuff. I think that a lot of times they go with who’s going to be there, who’s always going to be there, who’s going to be the easiest. He’s very easy and I love him to pieces, but I think it’s outside complications. I think that’s why.”

Former WWE Diva Maria Kanellis was one of the featured guests on this week’s live edition of the award-winning Monday Night Mayhem. She discussed about her upcoming appearances at the Make A Wish foundation, her ex-boyfriend CM Punk and much more. Below is an interview of her talking about her success and about CM Punk.

I’m hungry for knowledge. I’m hungry for success. I’m hungry for what comes next. Once you lose that hunger, it’s when you fall short and you go stale. Maybe it’s not the easiest thing in the world. I tried music, and I love music. I love to write, but maybe that’s not for me. I’m going to keep going with it and see what happens. But at the same time, I’m doing that. I’m doing something different everyday.

Maria’s thoughts about CM Punk.
“I think Punk is one of the greatest, if not the greatest, in wrestling right now and for a while now. I love The Rock, and I love ‘Stone Cold,’ but right now is ‘The Era of Punk.’ He’s incredible. I’m so happy for him to be doing exactly what he enjoys doing, and that’s to be honest & to be straight edge. I think it’s incredible for him. Punk does not care about the show. He does not care the pyro, and the fanfare, and ‘Let me put on a fancy suit and let me look perfect everywhere I go.’ What he cares about is wrestling. He cares about the wrestling business. He wants integrity in the wrestling business, and that is why it resonates with the fans. A lot of people care about the fanfare of it all, but they forgot what is wrestling is truly about.”

It was great interview of Maria and she is such a good and great personality of WWE.

Diva Alicia Fox attended to three different parties at Comic-Con and chose different three beautiful dresses for every occasion. She wore a purple one shoulder mini outfit with brown high heels at Maxim and Camp Playboy parties. For Syfy party Alicia wore an amazing diagonal zebra print yellow dress with a black clutch and sandles. she wore an black good looking tight top with yellow shoes at Connected party.

The gorgeous WWE Divas Champion Kelly Kelly had made her appearance twice at Comic-Con. The first we can see Kelly wore a beige mini dress matching with golden color sandals and sunglasse for an afternoon autograph signing session. For day two Kelly has been seen wearing a black ruched beautiful mini top to interview. Kelly wore a beautiful mini dress and high heels to attend parties.

TNA Knockout Madison Rayne attended to Comic-Con to wrestle against Mickie and signing autographs. She chose a light white top and jeans. Mickie James also appeared around there with a ethnic brown dress and holding her belt at Comic-Con. To signing autograph Mickie chose an basic outfit. She wore an black top and a beige short pants.

Former WWE Diva Maria Kanellis also attended there. We can see her in two different looks. First she chose a black top and mini white shorts with a heavy belt, fishnet hose and high heels to signing autographs for her fans. She also wore a cute black polka dot dress which was so beautiful.
