As Kelly Kelly looked ready to hit the K2 legdrop on Michelle McCool, Layla jumped up on the apron. Her subtle distraction allowed her partner-in-flawless to counter and hit the Faithbreaker for the win. But, the fireworks didn’t end with the bell. After the match, Drew McIntyre emerged to stop a post-match attack on Kelly Kelly by Team Lay-Cool.

The 2010, is most definitely the year LayCool was the most dominant force in Womens Wrestling Today, LayCool truly made history in 2010, on multiple occasions.
At the Start of 2010, LayCool continued to take on Mickie James in the ‘Piggy James’ Angle which lead them to humiliate the Multi Time Womens Champion on various occasions, especially in the ‘Piggy James Goes Away’ Party that lead to LayCool dowsing her in what must have felt like gallons of drink and humiliating her further by ramming a personally crafted cake in her face.
After the release of Mickie James from WWE, LayCool sort to take on Beth Phoenix with the help from SmackDown Official Consultant on various occasions over months, which lead to a ‘Extreme Makeover’ Match at Extreme Rules, Humiliating her after the Match by crayoning in her face with lipstick and various other make-up. Their feud culminated with them recapturing the Womens Championship from Beth in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match on an Episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
Soon after they toppled Beth they took on Blondetourage which consisted of Kelly Kelly and Tiffany, in singles competition, Michelle and Layla took on both members of the duo in Championship matches, beating them on multiple occasions.
Following beating all the girls on SmackDown, the girls took to Raw to take on newly crowned Divas Champion Melina, offering her a chance to make history, in a unification match for the Womens Championship and Divas Championship at Night of Champions, However there was rumblings of dissention in the camp as both ladies quarrelled over who should face the Divas Champion at NOC but the duo remained solid as they yet again knocked off another Diva, unifying the two Championships in the process.
After becoming Co-Unified Divas Champion, LayCool faced their new no. 1 contender Natalya, whom the two beat on separate occasions, humiliating her in the process by making fun out of her looks and family lineage, dressing up as her and her uncle Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart on various occasions. However, this feud would end with Natalya taking the Championship from LayCool in a 2-on-1 Handicap match at Survivor Series.
But, LayCool would make history once more, by facing the Sisters of Destruction a newly returned Beth Phoenix and Divas Champion Natalya in the first ever Tag Team Divas Tables Match at TLC in December.

WWE Tag Team Divas Natalya and Beth Phoenix ruled at Smackdown as both the Divas with their impressive team work defeated former Co Divas Champion Michelle McCool and Layla in a tag team match on Smackdown

After clashing at Teddy’s New Year’s Eve party, SmackDown’s top Divas settled matters in the ring. Divas Champion Natalya & Beth Phoenix rang in the New Year with a tag team victory when The Glamazon destroyed Michelle with a devastating Glam Slam.
