WWE Smackdown Divas Triple Threat Match Mickey James Defeted Natalya and Beth Phoenix and became no. 1 contender for WWE Womens Championship Match.
As Women’s Champion Michelle McCool and Layla sat ringside, Mickie James overcame both Beth Phoenix and Natalya to become the No. 1 Contender to the gold. After Natalya put Mickie in the Sharpshooter, The Fabulous Firebird grabbed the opportunity to execute a Glam Slam on the occupied Dungeon-trained Diva. But when Beth went for the victory, Mickie suddenly knocked her from the ring, capturing the huge win for herself, along with the hope of becoming the Women’s Champion for the fifth time.
After the bell, a fed-up Mickie confronted Michelle, hurling the Champion back into her chair. This sparked a double-team attack by Michelle and Layla, which lit the fuse for an explosive rescue by the returning Maria.

Just as it looked as if Mickie was gaining the upper hand over The Hart Dynasty Diva, the devious duo appeared, proceeding to destroy Mickie’s ring attire. Natalya used the distraction to lock in the excruciating Sharpshooter, giving her opponent no choice but to submit.

Women’s Champion Michelle McCool, Beth Phoenix and Natalya defeated Divas Champion Melina, Kelly Kelly and Gail Kim at Sunday 25th October 2009 at WWE Bragging Rights.
With SmackDown previously down 1-0 to Raw following United States Champion The Miz’s win over Intercontinental Champion John Morrison, Women’s Champion Michelle McCool, Beth Phoenix & Natalya tied up the score at WWE Bragging Rights when The Glamazon’s impressive strength overcame the Monday night Divas.
