Layla Returns and Wins Divas Championship at Extreme Rules
She’s backkk!

The flawless Layla returned to the ring after nearly a year of inactivity due to injury and captured the Divas Title from Nikki Bella on her first night back.
Layla, who was injured at this very pay per view last year during a physical match with former BFF Michelle McCool, has been recovering from a torn ACL and MCL since May 2011.

WWE has announced to fans via text message that Beth Phoenix is off the Extreme Rules pay per view due to not being medically cleared from her ankle injury last Monday.

At this rate Beth Phoenix may just be the Divas Champion forever.
The Glamazon proved to be immune to Tamina Snuka‘s Superfly Splash, kicking out of the pinfall and taking home the victory with an almighty Glam Slam.
In a good back and forth match, both Divas shone, but it was Tamina, who has had limited ring time thus far, who showed a marked improvement in the ring and really hung in there well with the multiple time champion.

Extreme Rules 2011 – Michelle McCool OUT Kharma IN

As you all know that the mutual battle of BFF led to the “Loser Leaves WWE” match. And this time it was Layla, who picked up the biggest victory of her career by defeating her long-time BFF, Michelle McCool and forcing her to leave WWE.

Following a brutal physical brawl, Layla managed to roll-up Michelle for the win, thus ending the first ever Divas Champion’s career in WWE.

After the match Michelle McCool was greeted by arrival of Kharma whom gave an allmighty Implant Buster leaving Michelle in the center of the ring motionless. All this was seen by the WWE Divas in locket room who were stunned by the huge size and power of the new diva Kharma.
