Kane vs Aksana on this Week’s SmackDown?

Hit by shovels or a match with Kane? Aksana may find out which fate is worse next week on SmackDown.
At the end of this week’s episode of the show, Raw General Manager John Laurinaitis teased that he would put the Lithuanian Diva against Kane in a match next week when he takes over SmackDown for the night.
Next week, the GMs for Raw and SmackDown will switch places with Teddy Long overseeing Raw and vice versa.
Laurinaitis, who has been feuding with Long in recent weeks for control over both Raw and SmackDown, looks to exact revenge by pitting Aksana, Long’s girlfriend, against the Big Red Monster.
Divas Champion Beth Phoenix & Natalya def Aksana & Tamina at Smackdown

Prior to their Divas Tag Team Match, Natalya and Beth were warming up when the former involuntarily passed gas for the second week in a row.
Once the action got underway, The Glamazon opted to tag herself in, ordering Natalya “out of her ring” before delivering the Glam Slam on Aksana for the pin. Moments later, The Fabulous Firebird walked out of the squared circle without her tag team partner. Natalya regrouped, trying to initiate a post-match assault on the fallen Aksana, but Tamina came to the rescue. Dropping her adversary with a powerful kick, “The Warrior Princess” once again delivered an earth-shattering splash off the top rope.
Natalya Neidhart Reacts To Embarrassing Events On SmackDown
In her very first match on SmackDown, Aksana defeated Natalya in less than ten seconds via roll-up on Friday’s show. After the match, a steamed Natalya locked the Lithuanian grappler in the Sharpshooter, making her tap. Tamina then came to Aksana’s rescue, landing a splash off the top rope onto Natalya.
Prior to the match, a backstage confrontation between Aksana and Natalya led to a very awkward moment as a fart sound was abruptly heard. The “Pin-up Strong” Diva suggested she was guilty of the unexpected bout of flatulence by quickly scurrying out of SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long’s room. Aksana then followed Long out of the room, holding her nose. Santino Marella then walked into the room and displayed a horrified reaction to the foul scent.
WWE Superstars Redux (January 19th, 2012): The (One Sided) Generational War Wages On

Another week and another match between Natalya and Tamina in what must be the most one-sided feud ever. Three weeks, three losses for Natalya, and little to no storyline advancement. Why do we keep seeing the same match over and over? I’m not quite sure, but at least this week we got a lengthier bout between second and third generation Divas compared to the lackluster 1-2 minute matches we’ve seen between them on SmackDown. In fact, this match — if you can look past the canned crowd noise — was pretty darn good.
Check it out below:
Natalya is first out to the ring followed by Tamina in a brand new ring attire. Hurrah! After months of seeing her in the same ring gear, it’s nice to see that she’s changed it up over the past couple of weeks, and I think this attire actually looks good on her and suits her. Kudos!
