Stephanie McMahon Comments on Divas, Vickie Guerrero Weight Jabs

WWE executive Stephanie McMahon took part in her first ever Twitter session on Tuesday evening, answering questions via The Online Momto promote WWE’s 1,000th episode next Monday night.

McMahon responded to fans’ tweets via the @WWEmoms Twitter account and made some noteworthy comments.

Giving her opinion on women’s wrestling, she said: “I love that our programming features strong, smart, athletic women.”

Another fan asked if she felt Jerry Lawler’s jibes at Vickie Guerrero‘s weight on commentary set a good example for kids. McMahon responded: “Vickie Guerrero is a strong character who stands up for herself.”


Stephanie McMahon Discusses Tout Deal, Says WWE May Invest In More Start-Ups

As noted yesterday, WWE announced an investment in and strategic partnership with Tout Industries, Inc. Fans will have the chance to be seen and heard via Tout as real-time video updates will be featured during WWE television programming, on WWE.com, throughout WWE’s social media presence and on in-arena video displays beginning with the 1000th episode of RAW on July 23rd. WWE talent will also interact with fans via Tout question and answer sessions leading up to the event.

Stephanie McMahon Excited About RAW Going Three-Hours, Discusses Fan Involvement

Eric Goldman of IGN.com spoke with Stephanie McMahon at the USA Upfronts last week where RAW going three-hours permanently was announced.

Stephanie told IGN that WWE is excited about the challenges of filling an extra hour of content each week:

“It’s going to be the first-ever regularly scheduled three-hour program on television and I think we’ve got a pretty good handle on it thus far! You know, we do a three hour show called a Pay-Per-View almost every month and Monday Night RAW, we’ve done three hours before, so we feel great about it.”

Eve and Stephanie McMahon Promote Anti-Bullying Week


WWE Diva Eve, along with the WWE executive Stephanie McMahon, helped promote WWE and Be a STAR Alliance’s anti-bullying week recently.

They spoke to 350 students at a school, and in an interview, Eve also discussed her own experience of being bullied.
