SmackDown’s Official Consultant Vickie Guerrero welcomed former ECW General Manager Tiffany to Friday nights with a non-title match against Michelle McCool. SmackDown’s newest Diva put up an impressive showing against the champion, only to be attacked by Guerrero herself. However, when Guerrero and Team Lay-Cool ganged up on Tiffany after the bell, Beth Phoenix emerged to even the odds.
After clearing the ring of both Michelle and Layla, The Glamazon laid out SmackDown’s Official Consultant with a powerful clothesline.
Mickie James Staph Infection Surgery Update
Mickie James has been released from the hospital and is now at home recuperating. Those who asked about her status at television last night were told there is no time table for her return at this time, but everyone was hopeful she would be back in time for Wrestlemania.
WWE acknowledged James’ staph infection yesterday in a post on their website. They disclose that she underwent two surgeries for a staph infection on her right leg.
“I’ve been on an emotional roller coaster,” she said. “I have no control of anything. At least with an injury you know for sure how long it is going to take.”

The Real Reason Why WWE Fired Maria
Maria Kanellis’ release from World Wrestling Entertainment is being seen as a surprise considering that the fans voted her WWE Diva of the Year in an online poll last December not to mention that she will be appearing as a contestant on Celebrity Apprentice, which debuts in two weeks on NBC. She herself has told friends she was blindsided by the release and that she had no reason to believe it was coming.
Her departure was said to be due to management’s negative reaction to an interview she did with The Sun this past January where she said she wasn’t sure how much longer she’d stay with WWE because she had outside interests and would like to start a family at some point.

Gail Kim was injured during last night’s Pajama Pillow fight match. She had to be helped from the ring to the back after the match. The latest word is that she either hurt her foot or back. We hope to have more shortly.

WWE Divas match at Raw it was a Pajama Pillow Fight Divas Champion Maryse, Eve, Kelly Kelly, Gail Kim, Jillian and Alicia Fox fighing with each other in the match but in the end it was Eve who defeated all the Divas in the match and finding the Victory.
Dude, it was like something from a dream. After indulging in Hornswoggle’s “unique” cereal, special guest hosts Cheech & Chong decided it would be far out to have a Diva Pajama Pillow Fight Match featuring Divas Champion Maryse, Eve, Kelly Kelly, Gail Kim, Jillian and Alicia Fox. Man, were they right.
With the comedic duo watching from the announcer’s table, Eve demonstrated her pillow prowess and emerged victorious after all the feathers flew. Even Hornswoggle popped up to rain his “unique” cereal down on the special guest hosts. Trippy, man, trippy.
Michelle McCool Regain Her Title
A good news for Michelle McCool fans The Diva got his title back at Friday night Smackdown. Michelle McCool beating Women Champion Mickie James and became the New Divas Women Champion.

Thanks to the help of Special Guest Referee Vickie Guerrero, Michelle McCool recaptured the Women’s Championship from Mickie James. When Michelle attempted a pin on the champion, Guerrero looked to be positioning herself for the three-count. But, as she leaned against the ropes, she suddenly fell out of the ring. Meanwhile, Mickie was able to roll her opponent up for a pin attempt of her own. However, when SmackDown’s Official Consultant reentered the squared circle, she chose to slap the champion instead of counting to three.
As an angry Mickie turned her attention to her would-be attacker, Michelle recovered and delivered a hard kick to reclaim her coveted title.
