Eve Torres in New Promo for ‘Stars Earn Stripes’
Back in June, it was announced that former Divas Champion Eve Torres would be taking part in an NBC reality competition called Stars Earn Stripes. Eve joined the likes of Laila Ali, Nick Lachey and Dean Cain to be paired with real life experts with military or law enforcement experience. The teams will compete in various contests that test their newly learned skills, one team being eliminated each week.
We’ve already seen one promo for the show, and now a new one has surfaced, featuring Eve pretty prominently. Wach it below:
Stars Earn Stripes premieres on NBC on Monday, August 13th at 8pm ET with a two hour episode.
Kharma Confirms Her WWE Release
Nearly two weeks ago, speculation erupted over Kharma’s status with the WWE after the Diva’s Twitter account was moved to the WWE’s Alumni list. She tweeted twice that day (1, 2), seemingly confirming her release, but it wasn’t until earlier today that she outright stated that she was gone from the company. Replying to a fan’s question on Twitter, Kharma said:
“yes, I was [released]. It doesn’t mean I’ll never be back.”
While it’s extremely disappointing that she is indeed gone from the WWE, the second part of her tweet seems to offer a glimmer of hope: might Kharma return to the WWE in the future?
AJ Has Big Plans For Raw
After AJ decided not to marry Daniel Bryan on Raw, it was revealed she accepted a proposal from Vince McMahon to become the new permanent Raw General Manager. She stated on Twitter Tuesday evening that she has big things planned.
“Big meetings this week at WWE HQ. Things are about to get VERY interesting. #Raw1001 #businesschucks.”
Kelly Kelly Returning From Hiatus This Week
Kelly Kelly returns to WWE this week after being granted time off the road in late May.
She tweeted Sunday, “On the road again. Can’t wait to see everyone at the #raw1000.”
Kelly, who had been on the road on a weekly basis since joining WWE in 2006, was reportedly granted a break to spend time with her family and boyfriend. She last competed on television on the May 21 Raw SuperShow, losing to Beth Phoenix.

Stephanie McMahon Comments on Divas, Vickie Guerrero Weight Jabs
WWE executive Stephanie McMahon took part in her first ever Twitter session on Tuesday evening, answering questions via The Online Momto promote WWE’s 1,000th episode next Monday night.
McMahon responded to fans’ tweets via the @WWEmoms Twitter account and made some noteworthy comments.
Giving her opinion on women’s wrestling, she said: “I love that our programming features strong, smart, athletic women.”
Another fan asked if she felt Jerry Lawler’s jibes at Vickie Guerrero‘s weight on commentary set a good example for kids. McMahon responded: “Vickie Guerrero is a strong character who stands up for herself.”

The SmackDown Diva also addressed fan concern with her lack of WWE television time in recent months.

Former WWE divas Nikki Bella Twins (Nicole Garcia) confirmed on Twitter this week that she recently underwent breast augmentation surgery.

Former WWE talent Serena Deeb, 26, was arrested on July 8, 2012 in Tampa, Florida for BUI–Boating Under the Influence
Former WWE talent Serena Deeb, 26, was arrested on July 8, 2012 in Tampa, Florida for operating a vessel while intoxicated. Her crime was categorized as BUI—Boating Under the Influence. She was released on $150 bond.
Deeb appeared for WWE in 2010 as a member of the CM Punk-led Straight Edge Society, a group which promoted and abided to abstinence and discipline—primarily no smoking, drinking, or drugs. The faction acted as a militant organization, denouncing all people who didn’t practice the straight edge lifestyle, even those who also abstain from substance abuse. Her contract was terminated in August of that year, with WWE sources cited to the Pro Wrestling Torch saying that she was not maintaining the gimmick’s image in public. (more…)

Trish vs Lita Makes Top 20 in Greatest Raw Matches Countdown
WWE has ranked the epic main event battle between Trish Stratus and Lita on the December 6th, 2004 episode of Raw as one of the greatest matches in Raw history.
Ahead of the flagship show’s 1000th episode on July 23rd, WWE.com has been counting down the best 50 matches on Monday Night Raw — and Trish and Lita have ranked at a very respectable #16.

WWE Signed Sara Del Rey
As discussed during the TNA Destination X Post-Game show, Sara del Rey, One of the top female stars in the world has been offered a WWE deal and is currently undergoing her pre-signing medical testing.
Del Rey was one of the showcase talents for SHIMMER’s Women Wrestling and had strong showings and run in both CHIKARA and Ring of Honor.
From a wrestling standpoint, the company couldn’t have looked to sign a stronger female talent.
According to the report, Del Rey has been offered a deal pending the results of medical examinations. The way WWE works is that once an offer is made to a talent, a contract is contingent on them passing the battery of tests required for medical purposes.
WWE Diva Kharma Gets Married
Kharma indicated on her Twitter account that she is now a married woman. Acknowledging that she has a mother-in-law, she wrote Saturday on the website, “I love my mother-in-law’s New England accent. She doesn’t play darts, she plays “DAH-ts”! ?#family?.”
TMZ.com reported last December that the behemoth female grappler planned to tie the knot in June after her fiancée proposed to her with an engagement ring shaped like a wrestling ring.
Tammy Sytch’s Latest Outrageous Act
WWE Hall of Famer Tammy “Sunny” Sytch committed her latest outrageous act Saturday night at an independent wrestling show in Long Island, New York as she purposely had her undergarment removed during a match. She stated on Facebook, “If you haven’t already heard, last night at FTW in Long Island, Damien Darling removed my thong in the ring mid-match…It waas HOTTTTTTTT! To book us in August, contact me at 1originaldiva@gmail.com!! Thanks! We always put on the best show of the night 
.”
Sytch then revealed she disrobed to gain attention online. “How long b4 the dirt sheets pick THIS ONE up? that’s why it was done, hehe,” she commented below the initial post.
Vickie’s New “Queen Diva” Gimmick
Vickie Guerrero wrestled at Saturday night’s SmackDown live event from her home town of El Paso, Texas. Vickie announced to the live crowd that she will now been known as WWE’s “Queen Diva.” She defeated Kaitlyn in a match that was refereed by AJ Lee. After the match, Vickie taunted AJ, which led to AJ knocking her out with her Shining Wizard move.
After the event, Vickie tweeted, “El paso you rock! Thank you for your energy!” and noted that she took part in a new photo shoot while in El Paso. Check out this preview from the shoot:
Kharma Teases WWE Return
WWE diva Kharma continues to tell fans on Twitter that she’ll be returning to action soon. A Kharma fan page posted that she had confirmed to them she will be returning on the 1,000th RAW episode later this month. Kharma shot that rumor down and says she never spoke to the fan page.
Vickie Guerrero Hunting For AJ
Vickie Guerrero says she’s going to tonight’s WWE SmackDown live event in her hometown of El Paso, Texas to look for AJ Lee. She wrote on Twitter: “Tomorrow night, July 7 El Paso Coliseum Smackdown Tour I will be there hunting for AJ #queendiva”
