Layla Happy on Her Return and Victory at Extreme Rules

Layla who has become the new Divas Champion expressed her excitement about her return to WWE few days back at Extreme Rules.
Layla returned after nearly a year of inactivity following a torn ACL and MCL last year. She was announced as Nikki Bella’s surprise opponent for the Divas Title and captured the gold in her first night back.
On her return, Layla tweeted: “Thank U guys 4 all Ur Support! Its been a long Journey! I’m so happy to be back! New Diva’s Champion Let the fun times begin #flawless”

The flawless Layla returned to the ring after nearly a year of inactivity due to injury and captured the Divas Title from Nikki Bella on her first night back.
Layla, who was injured at this very pay per view last year during a physical match with former BFF Michelle McCool, has been recovering from a torn ACL and MCL since May 2011.

WWE has announced to fans via text message that Beth Phoenix is off the Extreme Rules pay per view due to not being medically cleared from her ankle injury last Monday.
Nikki Bella will face a “mystery Diva” for her title.
