Prior to their Divas Tag Team Match, Natalya and Beth were warming up when the former involuntarily passed gas for the second week in a row.

Once the action got underway, The Glamazon opted to tag herself in, ordering Natalya “out of her ring” before delivering the Glam Slam on Aksana for the pin. Moments later, The Fabulous Firebird walked out of the squared circle without her tag team partner. Natalya regrouped, trying to initiate a post-match assault on the fallen Aksana, but Tamina came to the rescue. Dropping her adversary with a powerful kick, “The Warrior Princess” once again delivered an earth-shattering splash off the top rope.

For the second month in a row, the Divas got an impromptu pay per view match. This time Beth Phoenix lead the team of the Bella Twins and Natalya against Kelly Kelly, Eve, Alicia Fox and Tamina.

The Divas Champ scored a big victory for her team by pinning Kelly Kelly for the second month in a row in a pretty good 8-Diva tag team match up.

Other highlights included Kelly hitting a crossybody to the outside on all of the Divas.

Prior to the match, a backstage confrontation between Aksana and Natalya led to a very awkward moment as a fart sound was abruptly heard. The “Pin-up Strong” Diva suggested she was guilty of the unexpected bout of flatulence by quickly scurrying out of SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long’s room. Aksana then followed Long out of the room, holding her nose. Santino Marella then walked into the room and displayed a horrified reaction to the foul scent.

Despite the embarrassing set of events, Natalya is holding her head up high. She tweeted to her legendary wrestling uncle Bret Hart following the show, “Our visit the other day reminded me that You can’t change the cards we are dealt, just how we play the hand. Positive energy wins.”

She also encouraged her Twitter followers to tweet “Team Natalya” if they believe Aksana and Tamina are cheaters. “Next week Teddy Long is really gonna feel my wrath!” she added.

Natalya is finding humor in the fart episode as she responded “Nice play on words!” to the following fan tweet: “You think youre hot s**t, but you’re really just a warm fart.” The daughter of Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart also noted, “Never take yourself too seriously!”

This week saw the return of the Glamazon Beth Phoenix to action — but it wasn’t on Raw. Instead, Beth took her Divas Title to Superstars to face off against Brie Bella.

How will Beth do in her first televised match of 2012? Let’s find out…

After we get past the entrances, it’s time for the bell to finally ring as Brie’s sister Nikki (Nikki B, forevs!) looks on rather deviously. Perhaps a sign that this won’t exactly be a one-on-one match?

Brie rather confidently steps up to Beth, shoving her, but the Divas Champ exerts her size and strength advantage by shoving Brie back and the former Divas Champ falls to the mat. Not a good look, B!

Brie tries to run to her sister but Beth is hot on her tail with a clothesline, back elbow and atomic drop combo, followed by a side slam and pin attempt. Brie manages to kick out but this only agitates the Glamazon more as she whips Brie into the corner and charges at her with the full force of her weight. Brie is then caught up over the middle rope as Beth tries to go for a running leg drop using the ropes but as we expected, Brie’s sister Nikki comes out to play, moving Brie and thus Beth ends up catching the hard cable ropes.

With Beth now hurt, Brie seizes the opportunity, taking her down from behind, stomping on her and then choking her out with her leg. Brie now has Beth over the middle rope and chokes her some more until the referee breaks things up. Meanwhile, Nikki plays cheerleader on the outside. Brie with a pin attempt but no, ma’am, that is not enough to put away the Divas Champ.

Brie goes for a stomp, but Beth catches her boot, pushing her back and Brie lands on her back. Beth on the offense now but Brie manages to hit a stealthy neckbreaker to take the Divas Champ back down to the canvas, much to the approval of Nikki. Another pin attempt and another kick out by Beth.

Brie now applies a chin-lock submission but Beth manages to get to her feet slowly but surely, picks up Brie and rams her into the turnbuckles. Beth with a slingshot suplex next, and now we know what it’s time for… Glam Slam! Beth positions Brie into Glam Slam position but Nikki tries to provide a distraction by jumping up on to the ring apron. Beth wisely uses Brie as a human battering ram, pushing her in Nikki’s direction resulting in the latter falling to the floor outside. Beth locks in the Glam Slam hold again and this time hits it perfectly for the win.

Thoughts: Kind of your standard match. Nothing stood out too much, but it wasn’t bad either.

I guess the question is, what’s next for Beth? As I mentioned during the Tamina/Natalya match last week, it seems like WWE has dropped the whole Divas of Doom thing and Beth and Natalya are back to being solos, so what does Beth do next? She’s pretty much faced everyone at this point from Kelly, to Eve, to Alicia, to the Bella Twins. Could they put Tamina up against her next? There aren’t many girls to choose from. I’d like to see AJ be given a “reward” for doing so well in the Big Show/Daniel Bryan angle and get a storyline with Beth, perhaps?

With Divas action on Superstars for the past few weeks, maybe they should just move the division over there? They certainly get more time than they would on Raw. I’d like to see them incorporate storylines and backstage segments into the show.

WWE.com is echoing fans’ sentiments by arguing that Beth Phoenix may have been snubbed last night at the Slammy Awards in the Divalicious Moment of the Year category.

The website argues that the Divas Championship changes hands every year, thus suggesting Kelly Kelly‘s Slammy victory for winning the Divas Title lacks “award-worthy oomph”.

Instead, everyone was talking about Divas Champion Beth Phoenix & Natalya who randomly jogged around the ringside area. The duo’s actions were unclear, but rest assured the “pin-up strong” pair will offer a nasty reason for their public exercise soon.

With the WWE Universe packing Madison Square Garden to the rafters at Survivor Series, Divas Champion Beth Phoenix reigned supreme over Eve in a Divas Lumberjill Match, defeating her with an earth-shattering super Glam Slam off the top rope.

With the beautiful Divas of WWE surrounding the ring on every side, Beth and her No. 1 contender set the ring ablaze from the opening bell. Despite Beth’s reputation for all-out supremacy, her fierce foe’s skill shined though, setting the stage for an incredible contest of guts and determination.

However, when the Divas Champion gained the advantage in their struggle on top of the ropes, she used her trademark finisher to drive her opponent to the canvas for the victory.

For several months, The Glamazon & Natalya set themselves up as a ruthless brand apart. Passing judgment on the so-called “Barbie dolls” – Divas who they consider lesser overall competitors – the dominant duo set out to make the objects of their scorn scream at any chance they got.

After The Fabulous Firebird overcame Eve at Vengeance, she and Natalya continued their mean-spirited attempts to break the will of the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu-trained Diva, stealing her gear and Tweeting out pictures mocking her and toying with her golden ring attire.

With the support of Divas Kelly Kelly and Alicia Fox, Eve would fight back in the weeks that followed. First, she scored a tremendous measure of retribution on the Oct. 31 Raw SuperShow, dumping Natalya out of the ring to win a No. 1 Contender’s Battle Royal to earn a rematch against Beth at Survivor Series. Then, she added insult to injury, heisting their powerful adversaries’ rental car.

With so many Divas playing key roles in the circumstances leading up to the Divas Title showdown, it was destiny that they would all play a part in the moment of truth. Earlier this week, WWE.com announced that Beth’s match against Natalya would be a Lumberjill Match.

In the Silver Anniversary of WWE’s second longest running pay-per-view, Divas Champion Beth Phoenix demonstrated once again why she is pin-up strong. Whether there is a Diva in WWE that will dare stand up to her dominance now remains to be seen.

Making a strong statement, the agile Alicia Fox defeated Natalya with a well-targeted scissor kick at WWE Smackdown tonight.

The battle between No. 1 contender to the Divas Championship Eve and The Glamazon, Beth Phoenix spread far beyond the mat – where the two Divas took to Twitter to air their grievances with one another. After the Twitter-based tongue lashing had finally subsided in a hotly-contested battle for the butterfly emblazoned title, Eve fell just short of beating a dominating Beth Phoenix at Vengeance.

Eve pulled out all the stops in hopes of capturing the Divas Championship. Utilizing both her athleticism – reversing the Glam Slam and trying for the pin – and using The Glamazon’s own ring gear to tie The Beauty from Buffalo to the ring ropes. However, one dominant Glam Slam later, Eve was unable to net the butterfly.

On SmackDown, Natalya made it clear that Divas Champion Beth Phoenix and herself were not messing around and gave an ominous warning that Eve had made the biggest mistake or her life. The “Sisters of Salvation” held true to their warning, attacking Kelly Kelly before Vengeance, relegating the former Divas Champion unable to accompany her best friend to the ring for one of the biggest matches of Eve’s career.

Now that Beth has taken back two challengers in Eve and Kelly Kelly in her quest for Divas division domination with Natalya – what’s next for the powerful duo?
