WWE Mix Tag Team Match Results – WWE Superstars – August 13, 2009
Carlito & Rosa Mendes defeated United States Champion Kofi Kingston & Divas Champion Mickie James in WWE Mix Tag Team Match at WWE Superstars on August 13, 2009.
In a huge upset, The Caribbean Superstar pinned the United States Champion giving him and Rosa Mendes the victory. A win over any champion is a big one, and even though things weren’t looking good for Carlito, he made the right move at the right time dodging one of Kingston’s high-flying maneuvers and reversing it with a Backstabber. Oddly enough, The Jamaican Superstar and Mickie James weren’t the only ones to leave the ring with a sullen attitude. Despite securing victory for his team, The Caribbean Superstar retained the same bad attitude with which he initially entered the ring.
