Maxine’s vicious road to Redemption

Maxine is back, and apparently she’s a woman on an important mission. But what exactly does this vengeful, fiery former NXT Rookie Diva from Season 3 have in mind for WWE NXT Redemption?

During week 24 of competition, Maxine made a shocking return to Tuesday nights, viciously attacking a vulnerable A.J. from behind moments after A.J.’s beau, Hornswoggle, and Titus O’Neil were taunted out of the ring by Derrick Bateman. Following the attack, Bateman revealed that Maxine was his new girlfriend and “soulmate.”

A confident Maxine proclaimed to the WWE Universe that Hornswoggle couldn’t handle “a real woman” like her, so he settled for “something less, like A.J.” She then threatened to cause even more problems on WWE NXT, stating she and Bateman were “just getting started.”

The former NXT Rookie Diva certainly wasn’t lying. A week later, she dominated A.J. in singles competition, and while Bateman cruelly shoved Hornswoggle down onto the ringside floor, Maxine capitalized on her distracted opponent. rolling her up for the victory. Their celebration was cut short when Hornswoggle’s NXT Rookie, O’Neil, angrily stormed into the ring, but NXT’s wicked new couple didn’t seem fazed. On the contrary – they were pleased with themselves.

Maxine has quickly made her presence known on WWE NXT Redemption, and so far she’s helped her boyfriend, Bateman, earn a victory over archrival O’Neil. But for how long will her antics be tolerated? Sooner or later, a WWE official has to notice she’s interfering in matches to help Bateman advance in the competition. Will it eventually affect the couple’s game plan? And where has Bateman’s WWE Pro, Daniel Bryan, been throughout all of this?

Maryse Comments On Leaving WWE, Whether She Will Join TNA

Maryse Ouellet says her desire for “bigger and bigger things” in her career prompted her decision to part ways with WWE.

She tells Radar Online, “I have aspirations and there’s other stuff I want to work on, so I decided to go. That and for the simple fact that I didn’t want to be with the WWE for 25 years. I was there six years, I had my run, I wanted bigger and better things.”

The former Divas Champion was also asked why she said in a recent interview that she would not be joining TNA Wrestling.

“I decided to leave wrestling for other aspirations I have. I’m not going to go to TNA, I’m loyal to WWE — it wouldn’t make any sense!” she says.
